Dhaka Commerce College arranged a discussion meeting and a cultural program with a view to commemorating the martyrs and honoring the wounded in the Movement against Discrimination in the college auditorium on 27 November 2024. A welcome speech was delivered by Maksuda Shirin, Associate Professor and the convener of college cultural committee. Moreover, Arafat Hossain Shihab, Kazi Mostofa Zaman Ashrafi (Shams) and Al Mashnoon, on behalf of the wounded students, narrated the tumultuous situations and their heart touching experiences during the movement. Professor Abu Nayem Md. Mozammel Hossain, the Vice Principal, Administration (Acting) and Professor Dr. Kazi Fayz Ahamed, the Vice Principal, Academic (Acting) also spoke on the occasion. Professor Dr. Md. Abu Masud, the Principal of Dhaka Commerce College, presided over the whole program.   

The cultural program consisted of a short play, recitation and songs. Besides, a wall magazine was opened, and an exhibition of photography was held as memorials of July Movement.
